Head of Operations (m/w/d)
YOUR MISSION
These key tasks collectively contribute to the successful transition from a single plant to a multi-plant operational model, aligning the company with its strategic objectives while maintaining a commitment to excellence in manufacturing, service delivery, and overall operational performance.
- Leadership
- Lead and manage overall plant operations, including production, service and maintenance, Logistics and safety protocols.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and employee engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between departments.
- Manage and develop a high-performing operations team through coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
- Strategic Development
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency and achieve production targets as well as facilitating the expansion from a single plant to multiple plants across europe.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational strategies with overall company objectives.
- Manufacturing
- Develop and manage budgets, controlling costs while maximizing operational output.
- Oversee and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and scalability in the transition to multi-plant operations.
- Implement and maintain best practices in manufacturing processes.
- Service and Maintenance
- Develop and enhance service and maintenance strategies to support product lifecycle management and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with technical teams to implement preventive maintenance programs and minimize downtime.
- Logistics
- Establish and optimize logistics and supply chain strategies for seamless coordination between multiple plants and distribution networks.
- Monitor and enhance transportation, warehousing, and inventory management processes.
- Compliance and Safety
- Establish and optimize logistics and supply chain strategies for seamless coordination between multiple plants and distribution networks.

YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Business Management, Master's degree is a plus. Further training as a "Meister"
- Minimum 15 years of proven experience in plant operations management
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control, high sense of responsibility
- Proven track record of implementing operational improvements and achieving production targets
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
