We are looking for an engaged Supply Chain Integrity Manager (m-f-d) who brings solid expertise and a passion for FSC's mission, to work with us in a multinational environment.
The Scope
To ensure the integrity and credibility of the FSC system through supporting measures to prevent and address the occurrence of false claims and wrongdoing. The manager will contribute to the delivery of targeted solutions and communications on activities to ensure FSC system integrity and supply chain integrity. The employee will work on integrity investigations and projects, identification of integrity risks and preparation and implementation of relevant solutions, including changes to FSC normative framework, while also managing projects with external partners.
Supply Chain Integrity Manager (m-f-d)
Main Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage supply chain integrity investigations and execute follow-up actions.
- Coordinate with ASI, CBs, FSC staff and FSC Network to address supply chain integrity issues.
- Support communication, including crisis communications, for supply chain integrity activities.
- Provide support for the development and adoption of integrity tools and revision of FSC normative requirements.
- Build and maintain effective contacts and good relations with stakeholders affected by relevant normative documents and supply chain integrity activities.
- Identify, advise on, monitor and review system improvement.
- Any other task as assigned by formal supervisor and project work as assigned according to special organizational needs.
Qualification, Experience and Skills
Education and Training:
- University/technical college degree or equivalent training or experience in a field of auditing, forensics, law, political sciences, accounting, international trade, forestry or other relevant specialization.
Working Experience, Style and Skills:
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience related to the roles and responsibilities of this position
- Auditing, quality assurance or forensic investigation experience is an asset
- Training in or experience with FSC certification or other certification schemes is a plus
- Sound project management experience
- Experience in writing, reviewing, revising, and/or editing technical documents, making them light and user-friendly by using the appropriate style and terminology
- Analytical and structured approach to problems
- Proven ability to plan, organize and complete work tasks
- Good time management skills
- Solution and service-oriented attitude to work
- Work ethics to maintain good relationships with internal and external parties
- Attention to detail
Others:
- International exposure or multi-cultural experience during studies, trainings or work;
- Interest to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of the global discussions and key actors in the fields of forest governance and sustainability, or willingness to learn about it and grow
- Commitment to FSC mission and values
- Enthusiastic and open-minded personality being ready to belong to a diverse, international team
Computer Skills:
- Standard software packages (MS Office)
Language and Communication Skills:
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Other languages are a plus
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
Terms and Conditions
- Location: Bonn, Germany.
- Working Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week.
- Duration of Employment: Temporary contract - 2 years (with a possibility for extension, subject to satisfactory performance.)
- Starting Date: As soon as possible.
